Description
SAP is actively looking for Support Engineers with middleware and interface knowledge in China. The Support Engineer is responsible for assessing and developing functional and technical solutions, continuous optimization and supporting. This role involves intensive onsite and remote customer engagements throughout the entire lifecycle of a project: from the requirements phase, to the testing and operational phases.
We are looking for a strong technical engineer who is dynamic and flexible with a solid business and technical background that can be applied to enterprise application delivery in various industries. Proficient knowledge and experience of SAP PI or CPI is preferred. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to work independently, and collaborate with technical and non-technical individuals with high level commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
Understand business requirement, their drivers and articulate solutions including business process change, configuration change and product enhancements
Analyze application and configuration requirements according to specifications to aid in the development of project plans
Design and Develop technical solutions across multiple processes, interfaces, and technical domains in project teams
Troubleshooting technical issues during implementation/operation and continuously improve existing solutions
Deliver training on software functionality for end users
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant discipline. Postgraduate degree preferred
1-2 years’ experience in Java development
1-2 years’ experience with middleware implementation of enterprise software projects
1-2 years’ work experience with IT solutions and projects
Fundamental understanding of SAP system and architecture
Full Project Lifecycle experience, including requirements gathering, development, configuration and operation
Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of customers, partners, and colleagues
Interest and Willingness to travel to customer sites long-term and other business related travel, up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications:
Experienced in development of SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration
Experienced in development of SAP Cloud Platform Integration Service
Good understanding on IDoc/ALE technology
Good understanding on RFC/JCo technology
Experience of other middleware such as TIBCO, Boomi, IBM WebSphere MQ, Oracle Service Bus is a plus
SAP Netweaver platform upgrade experience is a plus
Knowledge of Netweaver Java Security is a plus
System integration and system administration experience is a plus
Experience in ABAP coding is a plus
