JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Summary

To ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the assigned outlet. Operate the outlet as a business unit as per the standards and procedures and practice managerial principles, in order to achieve departmental goals, in terms of Guest Satisfaction and financial targets.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Adopting the Greystar processes into the daily work structure and improving all work processes in the entire F&B area
  • To ensure a smooth and rational workflow in the food and beverage sector, considering the requirements of guests and the Greystar brand standards
  • Monitoring of order and cleanliness in the entire food and beverage area
  • Be responsible for handling guest complaints and handling them according to Greystar standards to the satisfaction of the guests in order to strengthen the loyalty of the guests Furthermore, to record complaints in writing.
  • Knows all emergency and safety regulations of the property in the food and beverage sector and always follows them to ensure the safety and health of guests and colleagues
  • Regularly attends meetings and shift handovers
  • To ensure, together with all departments of the house, that guest wishes are recorded and that these are fulfilled promptly
  • Develops relationships with guests, regulars, group contacts, suppliers, etc. to provide the highest level of personal service
  • Responsible for communicating any fluctuation in the business levels
  • Responsible that all equipment and furniture in the outlet is in a perfect condition and if necessary repaired and replaced
  • Promotes in-house sales through in-depth knowledge of the services offered and the facilities in the asset.

Organisational Focus

  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organisational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
  • Demonstrates appropriate safe behaviours in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).
  • Identifies areas for improvement, offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity, and implements ideas that achieve operational excellence.
  • Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes, research and/or subscribing to the internet or other professional publications or utilizing other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.

  • In addition to the tasks listed here, the holder of the position is obliged to carry out individual tasks on the instructions of the superior which are essentially related to the activity or result from the operational necessity.
