Your tasks

Contribute to the provision of a quality administration service to the clients and to the Land Transport operations team by supporting and assisting with the delivery of a smooth and efficient service.

Provide general administrative support to the logistics team to ensure client requirement are met, this may include acting as a backup to other team members or handling shipments as the role develops over time.

Process monthly and weekly customer invoices and supporting documents are emailed or delivered to accounts or client for payment to facilitate payment within 30 days.

Quality check data capture information on Parcel Perfect and STAR daily to verify accuracy of client invoice information.

Provide billing data on rate card and administrative support on new customer billing rate card and ensuring support to Cross border Solutions manager on maintaining Land transport rates (FTL and LTL) rates, increases and customer contracts on STAR and Parcel Perfect.

Process vendor invoices within the vendor credit terms.

Provide weekly and monthly reporting of sales and volumes to Cross border Solutions manager. Ensuring that all data is accurate and correct.

Process/Support/Backup of customer invoices and complete process on STAR, scan, save and email to customers.

Resolve Client Invoicing Queries in accordance with set KPI’s.

Support/Backup for uploading of PODs for FTL and LTL clients.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Transport.
  • Matric or Senior Certificate
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience within controller administration.
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in Finance – preferably Debtors or Creditors
  • Must have a sense of URGENCY to handle extreme pressure and be able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Willing to work after hours/weekends/ and on public holiday when required.
  • Must be a team player
