We are seeking an experienced and skilled electrician to join our growing company. The electrician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in a variety of commercial, agricultural and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including solar systems, PLC’s, VSD’s and irrigation controllers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and determine the most effective solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Ensure that all electrical work is performed in accordance with local and national electrical codes and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all electrical work performed
- Communicate effectively with customers and other team members
Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification: Installation electrician
- Proven experience as an electrician, with a minimum of 5 years in the field
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: R28,000.00 - R38,000.00 per month
