JOB DESCRIPTION


The role is based in the Firm’s Security Services business. The Security Services business delivers investor solutions to help institutional client protect their portfolios, optimize their efficiency and maximize opportunities in diverse global markets. We support clients across a global custody network spanning 100 markets, with custody and asset servicing, fund accounting and administration, alternative investment services, integrated analytics, agency lending, collateral management and depositary receipt solutions. Our global clients include; Asset/Fund Managers, Asset Owners, Bank and Broker-Dealers, Hedge Funds and Alternative Investors, Insurance and GSEs (Government Sponsored Enterprise)

The Custody Middle Office includes a wide variety of cross-product activity and support including; Trade Instruction Capture, Settlement, Fails Management, Cash Instruction Capture, Overdraft monitoring, Asset Servicing Instruction Capture and Income/Corporate Actions completions.

The Custody Client Operations play a vital role in the day-to-day management of the Custody Middle Office. The Custody Client Operations act as a single point of contact for clients in respect of their Trade, Cash and Asset Servicing enquiries and likewise the team performs client outreach, on behalf of the various Operational Teams within Custody Middle Office. Key focus areas for the role are proactivity, responsiveness, knowledge and promotion of excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision of the team in Riyadh with reporting responsibility into management team in Abu Dhabi and act as first point of escalation for the team in Riyadh
  • Provide career coaching and guidance to the team in Riyadh and have regular 1-1s and ensure team is delivering on set objectives including any training requirements
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding and training of new hires in Riyadh and work a part of a global team providing direct client support across a wide variety of products and markets
  • Build strong internal and external working relationships and partnerships and provide value add client service and operational subject matter expertise
  • Liaise with other JPM teams to ensure excellent client service delivery
  • Manage client issues log and attend client meetings to discuss issues with clients. Also present to clients on any system or market training requirements
  • Perform root cause analysis and identification of opportunities to reduce enhance client experience improve client STeP rate

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Self-motivated, flexible, innovative, adaptable and analytical
  • Excellent prioritisation, planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident at interacting with and communication with internal and external parties, including senior stakeholders
  • Industry/product knowledge in Trades and Cash settlement is required and Asset Servicing would be beneficial
  • Previous managerial experience would be an advantage but not necessary
  • Ability to motivate and encourage others to deliver on objectives and a pro-activeness in ownership and escalation of issues
  • Willingness to learn new skills and continuously improve knowledge
