We have an opportunity for a permanent full-time receptionist to start straight away.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 8.30 -17.00, with one hour for lunch. Salary will be from £19,000.00 (dependant on age and experience).
The main duties will include;
- Manage the switchboard, answer and transfer calls in a timely and efficient manner ensuring that full details of the client are taken;
- Take accurate messages in the absence of the fee earner or secretary;
- Greet clients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner and keep them well informed whilst dealing with their query;
- Keep accurate records of all visitors/documents delivered and staff whereabouts;
- Collect outgoing post and prepare for collection by either Royal Mail or DX;
- Open and close new files for all departments, electronically using Cognito and creating new file & sling for manual records;
- Input time recording data and prepare weekly statistical report for distribution;
- Ensure reception area, waiting areas and interview rooms are clean, safe and tidy;
- Computer inputting
Skills and knowledge required;
Experience of working as a receptionist or customer facing role is desirable.
Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills will be required.
Confident is using switchboard and IT systems.
Ability to work under pressure effectively.
