The position is primarily responsible on handling of inward treaty as well as outward facultative reinsurance transactions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that the company and the reinsurers account balances are reconciled at all times.
- Process accurately and on time all the facultative reinsurance premium payments due.
- Investigate and propose adjustment to clear any abnormal entry/balance in the inward treaty and outward facultative reinsurance accounts.
- Prepare reports accurately and on time for submission to internal and external users.
- Monitor and book the inward treaty transactions based on the statement of accounts received.
- Prepare, reconcile and dispose floats in the MPVR of handled GL accounts.
- Preparation of assigned Annual Statement Schedule for IC.
- Coordinate with other Dept/Units regarding payment/collection arising from outward/inward RI transactions.
- Handles queries (internal & external) and reconciliation from counter RI parties.
- Act as alternate Checker/Approver of Payment Requests in the PolisyAsia system.
- Act as an alternate approver of the Journal Vouchers as well as Payment Journals.
- Assist in the bookkeeping of FGU run off accounts.
- Prepare 2307 forms of suppliers/motorshops/dealers via autocredit.
- Timely submission of needed reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
- Background in Non-life Insurance Industry
- Background in Reinsurance Accounting
- With good analytical skills
- Computer literate especially MS Excel
- Effective oral and written communication skills
