Our Wellington CBD clinic is looking for a dedicated Social Worker who will work with our team of allied health staff to provide support and evidence-based care to our clients. The ideal candidate will be approachable and warm, aiding clients with challenges that impact their social determinants of health.
This is a part-time role, hours negotiable.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist clients in addressing the needs identified in planning reports
- Ensure successful rehabilitation outcomes - addressing emergency needs
- Provide brief social work intervention when needed e.g. counselling when needed
- Ensure clients and their whānau are kept well informed of our support services and resources

The ideal candidate:
- Degree in social work or equivalent
- Annual Practicing certificate as registered Social Worker.
- Membership of SWRB and ANZASW
- Excellent interpersonal skills
