Head of Human Resources [Chile]


 
AmplifonAmericas, a world leader in hearing care, has a strong demand for diverse, authentic, creative, and dynamic talent for a Head of Human Resources role located in Santiago, Chile. We are looking for someone who is forward thinking to help us strive towards everyday excellence while focusing on customer devotion and personal impact to ensure we are acting responsibly in everything we do.In this role, you will be responsible for the execution, implementation and adaptation of HR strategies, initiatives, and activities in support of the business and strategic direction of the organization within the LATAM region. You will partner closely with leaders by anticipating the needs and advising through workforce, talent data and insights. There will be a focus on strategic organization design, change management and transformation, while ensuring employees engagement across the region.You will oversee the entire LATAM human resources team. You will have six direct reports and guide the HR team to ensure successful oversight of the LATAM region. Responsibilities Business Leadership
  • Act as HR business partner of the Leadership Team of the LATAM Region and the Countries, providing consultancy, coaching and advice.
  • Adapts and deploys HR strategy in LATAM region by ensuring the alignment of local initiatives to the Global guidelines and identifying synergic opportunities.
  • Defines and manages with each country: HR budget, labor cost, salary review strategies and headcount.
  • Ensure the employee engagement through the proper initiatives and activities and a defined communication agenda.
  • Ensure that all the HR activities are aligned with labor legal framework, compliance and health and safety regulations.
  • Must be able to build and identify the need for process improvement, HR related activities and drive those needs into the business to demonstrate value and need for improvements.

Talent Assessment
  • Define workforce planning, recruitment needs, synergies and optimization opportunities and participates in recruitment activities and employer branding initiatives.
  • Build the talent pipeline across LATAM region, facilitate performance and compensation review on a strategic, global, and local perspective.

Organizational Design
  • Facilitate the implementation and local adaptation of Global processes and tools in the LATAM region and roll out HR initiatives (local and global) and organizational changes in line with Global guidelines.
  • Define and adapt the best incentive systems with the Retail Excellence regional structure to align the remuneration policies to the business targets and performance of the shops and sales areas.

Basic Qualifications
  • University Degree in Psychology, Law, Labor Relations, Business Administration or other relevant degree.
  • 8+ years of experience business partnering demonstrating ability to accompany leaders and people navigating uncertainty
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish

  • Providing guidance and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles faced in execution and operations.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and accomplish well-defined assignments according to established guidelines with little to no supervision
  • Aptitude to draw conclusions from data in a logical, systematic way
  • Leads by example on accountability, influencing, and effectively managing change
