Requirement

  • Grade 12 with at least 2 (two) yearsretail management experience
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Valid ID or valid work permit (local)
  • Must have strong accounting skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must be computer literate (Basiccomputer literacy)
  • Must have strong leadership skills
  • Must have strong administrativeskills
  • Must have own transport and cell phone
  • Must have sound knowledge of Healthand Safety aspects in line with local (OHSA) and/or neighbouring Countrieslegislation
  • Must have strong Human Resourcesskills


Job Description

StrategicManagement

  • Assist the Store Manager to develop,implement and manage a Store Business Plan for the Store ensuring it is alignedwith the overall Company strategy and strategic initiatives as approved by theDivisional Manager and Operations Manager from time to time


Growand Protect Market Share

  • Assist the Store Manager to achievegrowth in markets share in your Store as defined in the strategy plan
  • Assist the Store Manager to achievesales budgets and growth objectives by Category
  • Assist the Store Manager to promote customerloyalty programmes (e.g., VIC, charge cards, etc)
  • Assist the Store Manager to managethe distribution of advertising material to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Assist the Store Manager to developaction plans proactively to protect your market where you trade whencompetitors enter the market


CustomerService

  • Assist the Store Manager with implementingand monitoring the Customer Service strategy
  • Assist the Store Manager to maintainCustomer Audits above 95%
  • Assist the Store Manager with a reliable,prompt Customer Delivery Service
  • Assist the Store Manager to grow andmaintain VIC client base
  • Assist the Store Manager to achieve Transactionbudgets
  • Assist the Store Manager to recommendRange improvements to suite the market
