Kitchen Hand [Australia]


 

DOOLEYS currently provides a range of services and facilities to our members across our two Clubs, including a world-class gym, high quality restaurants and event facilities. We are in the process of developing plans to further expand and improve our facilities.

We are currently seeking a Kitchen Hand to join our team based at DOOLEYS Lidcombe and DOOLEYS Regents Park. This position requires flexibility for shift work across the week, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Working alongside a team of Chefs, you will be responsible for, not limited to:

  • Maintaining and cleaning dishes, utensils, equipment and working areas
  • General food preparation/handling
  • Following all hygiene and Health and Safety regulations within the kitchen
  • Ensuring all prepared and produced foods meet the clubs quality, timing and consistency

To be successful in obtaining this role, you must possess:

  • Previous kitchen hand experience
  • An ability to work within a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • A current RSA and RCG or a willingness to complete these prior to starting
  • A driver licence and access to a vehicle as the location is difficult to get to via public transport

This position may require you to complete regular, reasonable ad hoc duties involving a medium to heavy task intensity, and these duties will form part of the inherent requirements of role. Your application will be subject to a pre-employment medical assessment, and this assessment will be considered as part of the decision regarding your overall suitability for the position
